Meet Mrs. McCaffrey
Hi, I am Tiffany McCaffrey. It is hard to believe that this is my 21st year teaching Kindergarten! I taught at St. John's School in Hopkins for the first 19 years. Then, I was honored to be a part of the team of teachers and staff at Notre Dame Academy in Minnetonka. It was very exciting continuing the tradition of Catholic Education in the newly formed Regional Catholic School for the western subburbs. Every year is a new and exciting adventure with a new group of students and our new learning community! In the fall of 2014, I had the opportunity to venture "north" to begin a new adventure teaching Kindergarten at St. Stephen's Catholic School in Anoka, Minnesota. I dearly miss seeing all of my former students & families. They will forever be in my thoughts and prayers!
I am very proud to share that I attended Catholic Schools growing up. I went to St. John's School in Hopkins when I was in Kindergarten through 4th Grade. I then went on to St. Joseph's School on Mainstreet from 5th through 8th Grade. Being a part of the St. John's Community for such a long period of time is such a wonderful experience. I graduated from Benilde St. Margaret's H.S. and Mankato State University.
I am so lucky to be able to enjoy every aspect of being a Kindergarten Teacher.
I want to make each child's year in Kindergarten a joyful and meaningful journey. The children come to me each day so eager and excited to learn. It is my intention to help each child continue to develop at his or her own rate. Keeping in mind that little people can do amazing things if we empower them and support them! In my classroom, we celebrate success and learn that it is OK to make mistakes. As long as we try our best each day, we will succeed to learn and grow. I am so proud of how the children help each other by working and playing together on a daily basis. It is extremely important for me to teach children to see God and goodness in eachother and in all situations. Every day is such a gift and an opportunity for celebrating life & learning!

While we try to teach our children all about life,
Our children teach us what life is all about.
