It was another big day for the children!
We are all so proud of our friends who finally got their turns to have a special job at our school Mass! They worked hard practicing this week and did an outstanding job in all of the special tasks they had!
(I took a few photos at our practice - and was able to snap a few in Mass today too!!)
I am very proud of the children for their courage and reverence! It is very exciting for them to have this opportunity to participate in our Mass.
After church today I asked a few of the children to tell me how they felt when it was their turn.
Here is what was on their minds:
"Carrying the cross was AWESOME - because it was just SOO fun!"
"I was kind of nervous for the first line, then I just got the hang of it!"
"It was awesome because in my entire life, I've always wanted to have a part in the church!"
"I thought it was pretty cool- but I was kind of nervous at first because there were all those people there!"
"I just felt sooo happy because I like to be up on the stage!!"
"It was an awesome-er feeling than I have ever felt before!"
These precious children have hearts of gold & seeing things through their eyes is a constant reminder to me to find the joy in the little things in life, because these things are often much bigger than we really realize!!
